Bio – Marcus Kettles – Minister of Love Marcus is a 3rd generation Californian, who embraces life to its fullest and believes that love is the ultimate expression of the human experience. Love has no gender – compassion has no religion – character has no race. We are all One and therefore Love is the ultimate Right and Gift to us all. It is from this deep core belief that I became a minister of love, to facilitate the Divine Union between two Souls.
As a wedding officiant, Marcus brings to every Ceremony a life time of spiritual learning and living to create a unique and fitting wedding experience for the couple. These tailored services draw from the beliefs and preferences of the couple and can include sacred scripture, spiritual readings, prayers, antidotes, and stories of the wedding duo that makes the day, truly to be remembered.
Rev. Marcus has a long deep understanding of spiritual, theological, philosophical and metaphysical practices and Laws. He has been part of the Unity Church since he was a boy. As an interdenominational wedding officiant he brings a breadth of spiritual disciplines together, to ultimately provide a wedding ceremony rich in feeling and meaning, while at the same time, making it a joyful experience.
Marcus has been uniting couples in marriage since 2004, and has performed over 60 weddings, in a vast array of venues, everywhere from the Playa of Burning Man to the Gardens of the Four Season’s Biltmore. He officiated a wedding that was featured on the television show Platinum Weddings. Marcus is available for destination weddings, and also has a Spiritual Retreat called, Casa de Paz, in Ojai, where he performs intimate weddings, and re-commitment ceremonies.
In addition to his duties as a wedding minister, Marcus is an inspirational speaker for Mindvalley, an international educational organization with more than 6 million followers. He has facilitated numerous ‘Be Extraordinary’ Seminars across the country and internationally as one of their Master Certified Trainers. Also, with Mindvalley, he is a Certified Intuition Trainer of the Jose Silva Method, and facilitates 2 days Seminars.
Marcus is a graduate of the Institute of Full Permission Living in New York City, which is an integrative mind body spirit holistic psychotherapy program and has worked with many clients to successfully empower their lives.
Joy and Love are the cornerstones of Marcus’ life, with a big dash of college football and a full dose of family and friends. He is a supportive partner and a loving father. It is a blessing and honor to unite two people as they commit to a relationship based on love, honesty and growth.
